This Word about HOPE is more than needed for most of you, I'm sure. It is for me too!
Having last year come out from under a seven-year health crisis that involved three sinus surgeries (when they finally figured out what the problem was), I can tell you that all I had to hang on to all those years was – HOPE!
My wife, Derene, and I have several wall hangings around the house that say in bold letters: H-O-P-E. Derene and her friend Lori even purposefully took an entire day to climb up "MOUNT HOPE" here in SISTERS, OREGON, as a sign that they were hanging on to hope. We take hope seriously, and as the Scriptures state, "HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT..."
Dutch says in this article:
Hope is a lifeline, a spiritual umbilical cord, a stabilizing force in times of trouble. Hope enables us to overcome the pain of loss, the stigma of shame and the paralyzing power of fear.
Never underestimate the power of hope. God has placed into the spiritual DNA of every Believer the nature to hope, to overcome, and to win!
Please hang on to hope from the moment you read this sentence. Christ is our hope and HE WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER leave you alone or unprotected. RE-PLACE your hope IN HIM.

Some Staggering Facts
Life can be difficult—at times brutal. The struggling economy is stealing jobs and destroying the dreams of many. Diseases seem to have multiplied, ravaging the health of some and taking the lives of others. Our kids cut themselves and shoot their classmates. Our government is broken and refuses to reform. And the entire world, it seems, is filled with unrest and war. Fear and hopelessness seem to be winning.
In America, there is a divorce every 13 seconds, which equals 6,646 divorces a day and 46,523 per week. Fatherless homes account for 63 percent of youth suicides, 90 percent of homeless/runaway children, and 85 percent of youths in prison. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among youth between the ages of 10 and 24, with approximately 4,600 lives lost each year.
Major depressive disorder affects approximately 15 million American adults in a given year and is the leading cause of disability. Even our spiritual leaders are not immune—a staggering 70 percent of pastors constantly fight depression, and 1,500 of them leave the ministry each month.
People everywhere are looking for hope.

Hope is the Starting Line
Hope is to the heart what seeds are to the earth. Without hope, life is sterile, unfruitful. Without it, dreams won't be conceived and destinies won't be realized.
Hope is powerful because it is the starting line, the genesis, the launch pad. It is, in fact, the incubator where faith is formed: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for," God tells us (Hebrews 11:1, KJV). (Photo via flickr.com)
Scripture tells us hope connects us to our source. The Old Testament word for hope has the connotation of a cord used as an attachment. The New Testament calls it "an anchor of the soul" (Hebrews 6:19). Hope is a lifeline, a spiritual umbilical cord, a stabilizing force in times of trouble. Hope enables us to overcome the pain of loss, the stigma of shame and the paralyzing power of fear.
Never underestimate the power of hope. God has placed into the spiritual DNA of every Believer the nature to hope, to overcome and to win!
Climb Up Out of the Debris of Life
Craig Brian Larson relates a story told in the Pentecostal Evangel by J.K. Gressett, who wrote about a man named Samuel S. Scull, who settled in the Arizona desert with his family:
"One night a fierce desert storm struck with rain, hail, and a high wind. At daybreak, feeling sick and fearing what he might find, Samuel went to survey their loss. The hail had beaten the garden into the ground; the house was partially unroofed; the henhouse had blown away and dead chickens were scattered about. Destruction and devastation were everywhere.
"While standing dazed, evaluating the mess and wondering about the future, he heard a stirring in the lumber pile that was the remains of the henhouse. A rooster was climbing up, and continued until he had mounted the highest board in the pile. That old rooster was dripping wet, and most of his feathers were blown away. But as the sun came over the eastern horizon, he flapped his bony wings and proudly crowed."
When the morning sun appeared on the horizon, that beat-up, featherless rooster—amidst all the chaos and devastation—still crowed, announcing the beginning of a new day. Why? Because it was his nature to do so.
Winds of adversity may have blown through your life. Your world may be falling apart. But if you will look closely enough, you'll see the light of God's faithfulness shining through the debris. Listen to what God says about you in Romans 8:35-39. It is laced with the power of hope:
"Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not back-stabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture...
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us" (MSG).
Wow! Choose to hope. Climb up out of the debris of your life, flap your bony wings, and announce to the world that you've entered a new day. God has programmed you to hope, to overcome, and to win!

The True Purpose Of The Prophetic On The Earth
It has always been in the secret place of His presence that I have heard the Lord and experienced the power of true transformation. The Lord is always speaking, but sometimes you find yourself in a place where you know the message you are receiving is not just for you but is to be released to the Body of Christ across the globe. That is why I am thankful for platforms and forums like The Elijah List that allow the prophetic voice of the prophets to speak and decree a "thus saith the Lord" for all those who have an ear to hear.
If there is one thing that I have learned about the Lord, it is that He is a God of mysteries and secrets. The beautiful thing is that He longs to reveal these secret treasures to those who seek Him. His mysteries are literally wrapped up in His glory, and as we look for Him our very identity as kings in the Kingdom are revealed not just in Heaven but here in the Earth as well. And it is of great importance to discern new seasons in our lives so that we can move forward in our callings. God will shift things, and if we are to go higher in Him, we must discern these shifts and pull into a greater place of prayer to see them come to pass.
We must remember being alone in prayer isn't always about isolation. Sometimes God uses "alone" for our transformation! That is why the secret place of prayer may seem lonely at times, where minutes turn into hours of waiting in silence for God to come and speak a clear and direct word, but when He comes the impact is so empowering that your life is changed forever. It was the great author Mark Twain that once said, "You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus." Prayer brings our spiritual eyes into focus to see with the imagination of God and create what we see. This is the true purpose of the prophetic to have the ability to co-create with God through words.

The Angels Have A Great Role To Help Us Bring God's Will To Pass On The Earth
A while ago I was ministering to the Lord in prayer and, after several hours, I felt a rather strong shift in the atmosphere of the room. As I laid on the floor I felt someone come and take me by the hand; as a result, I began to shake violently. Power surged through my body as though I was connected to an electrical current. Waves of electric power went through my body. A download of revelation filled my spirit man as I laid under the power of God. After a rather long time I came to myself enough to stand up. To my amazement, stuck in the fabric of my shirt was a small feather. The Bible says in the Book of Hebrews, "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14 KJV).
I believe that angels play a vital role within the fabric of the Church. More often than not we can dismiss their presence in our daily lives and, as a result, we miss out on much that Heaven has to offer. My good friend Justin Abraham once told me that if we are ever going to move forward in this era and see the advancement of the Church on the earth, we must stop the apartheid that we have created with the angels of Heaven and open our spirits to the understanding that they have been sent to help carry us into the future. The angels have a great role to play in this hour to bring God's will to pass on the earth. They often come to shift us into new seasons and places. It's time we worked hand-in-hand with them to see it come to pass. I could speak much on this, but I believe you get my point.
A Prophetic Edge Is Being Given To The Servants Of God For Creativity In Technology
What I believe was of even greater significance than the visitation was the message that I received in my spirit. I quickly grabbed my iPad and wrote down several notes of information regarding revelation I had received. There were several pivotal points that the Lord spoke with me about that I want to share with you.
First, although innovation and inventions are being fueled by the great need and necessities of people, it will not be in human intellect and manpower in which we will see great technological advancements in medical and computer science in the coming days, but it will be revelation knowledge from eternity that will cause them to come to life! There is a new prophetic edge being given to the servants of God for creativity in technology.
One bit of precise revelation that the Lord spoke to me about that I feel led to share was the scientific discovery in the next 15 years of room-temperature superconductors. The discovery of these superconductors will spark a second industrial revolution and will shift the earth into a whole new world. I was also shown a great breakthrough in computer science through quantum computer technology. What we previously thought to be a technological boom that has come over the last ten years is elementary and will pale in comparison to what we will see start in 2015 to 2025. The earth is about to become much smaller!
At the release of quantum computing on the planet new emerging markets will develop and communication will become seamless and instantaneous. It will be as fast as a thought! My prayer is that the Body of Christ will be ready for this amazing technology that will bring massive amounts of wealth.
God Is Opening Classified Information From Eternity
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 KJV
Other words for secret are a "concealed code" or "classified information." God is opening classified information from eternity to all those who will seek Him in the secret place. Get ready; books of information and knowledge in Heaven are about to be opened. Secrets that have been sealed up for many ages and generations are about to be uncovered. Scientific codes are about to be cracked, bringing a flood of technological advancement that has not been seen on earth before.
Oftentimes we refer to the written Word of God as the Greek word Logos, but the Logos Word is much more then the written Bible – it is a living Spirit. Logos is where we get our English word for logic. It is literally the mind of God! It can also be translated as blueprint. God is making a trade with us this year. We are trading our mind for His so that we can think on a greater level of understanding to bring God's blueprint of the future onto the earth. There has always been a great separation between Christianity and science, but this is a time of a great convergence of the two.
As a result of this new-found knowledge, great wealth will be transferred to many who follow Christ to fund the harvest of souls in the nations on a level that we have never seen before. Many ideas of inventions and innovations will be given in dreams, and even sudden thoughts of understanding will burst into peoples' minds. Scientific mysteries and equations that seemed to stump the most brilliant scientists for centuries will suddenly, overnight, make perfect sense. Get ready, friend: Things that felt difficult to understand will, overnight, become easy and accessible. There is rest in this new realm of revelation we are entering.
"Get Ready For A System Reboot!"
We will see specific breakthroughs in the coming days with different forms of energy. Energy has always been a great concern for many, and for decades there has been an iron fist controlling technology from being released that would free the earth from an oil-based energy system. But the Lord revealed to me that in the not-too-distant future there will be no difference between waste and energy. In fact, right now there are nations on the verge of breakthroughs in energy that will cause Babylon to be bankrupt overnight. It will be a shock to many when it comes, but it is already in the works. The tide is changing, and I see new ways and waves of energy coming to the shores of many nations. Mark my words, the planet will not run on oil forever. That system is running out of time!
What we must come to understand is that when the Lord speaks about the earth and the world in the Word, He is speaking about two different things. The Earth is the planet in which we live, but the world is the system that is around the earth. Over the past several years there have been great manipulations of this system that have pushed demonic agendas onto the earth. This has caused great strain and an overload to come to markets around the world. This was accelerated by the enemy to cause a crash to take place in nations and different markets, which we have seen in some aspects. Money and wealth that suddenly vanished into thin air. Millions of dollars that could no longer be accounted for because it was wrapped in a failed system. People's retirements and pensions gone overnight. The Lord says, "Get ready for a system reboot!"
...The kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15 KJV
God is getting ready to reboot and reformat the system to work for the righteous. There are many trade secrets that will be revealed to men and women that follow after righteousness. While some in the world trade on the stars and secret systems, the righteous who follow the Morning Star will be shown things that are coming that will catch the markets by surprise. They will know where to invest and when to pull out and place their material wealth elsewhere.
Some have been in a cave of disparity because of the downturn over the past few years, but listen for His voice. It's not coming in the earthquake, the fire, or lightning, but in a still small voice. Listen closely and do as you're told and you will experience sudden turnaround. It will come overnight. God is coming down to change your story dramatically in 2014! I can hear a sound of abundance... Get ready, God is going to rain down blessing in your life!
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. Hosea 6:3 KJV

There is a battle raging, so fight with faith for the winner's prize! Lay your hands upon eternal life. for this is your calling – celebrating in faith before the multitude of witnesses!
So now, I instruct you before the God of Resurrection Life and before Jesus, the Anointed One, who demonstrated a beautiful testimony even before Pontius Pilate, that you follow this commission faithfully with a clear conscience and without blemish until the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.

God's a Builder. And the building He is doing is taking place in you. God wants an eternal value of impartation from the Holy Spirit to you from the Father, because He knows your future. He's your Alpha and Omega. He has already written your book for you. He knows exactly what you need and when you need it, and He wants to release it to you.

Keith Miller: True Riches: "To Cherish His Presence"
Proverbs 21:20 says, "There is desirable treasure, and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it."
What a powerful passage of Scripture! "There is desirable treasure..." which means "a beautiful, delightful deposit." This is referring to the wealth of His holy presence – the greatest Deposit of all deposits, the greatest Treasure of all treasures. Remember this Scripture: "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:7).
True riches are His holy presence and anointing. We should cherish His presence and His tangible anointing in our lives. We need the anointing. With His anointing, the impossible becomes possible for every Believer.
To "cherish" means "to treasure, adore, value." Those who are wise value the oil of His presence and do not squander it.
I was at a set of meetings a couple of years ago, and I asked for a definite increase of the anointing. I asked, "Lord, increase Your anointing." He said, "You've got to understand, Keith, the beauty of impartation." And Proverbs 21:20 is one of the Scriptures that He gave me. That word "desirable" means delight. The word "treasure" means deposit. There's a delightful deposit and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it.
Oil always represents the Holy Spirit. It is the most beautiful thing to desire, this deposit of His oil, of His anointing on your life; we are to be wise and not squander it. I believe that we should learn to cherish His presence. We can't do that by our own works but by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. (Photo via Flickr by Foodista)
Here's a key to cherishing this anointing: intimacy with the Lord (see John 15). The vine feeds the branch, and when you're hooked into the vine, you're hooked into the flow. Ask the Lord to increase that level of intimacy with Him in your life. Say this, like Paul and like Moses, "I want to become progressively, deeply, and intimately acquainted with You."
Mark 3:14-15 says, "Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sickness and to cast out demons."
Luke 9:1 says, "Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases." He gave it to them. He just said, "Here, take it." And they took the impartation He gave them, and they healed the sick and ministered to everyone they met.
John 20:21-22 says, "So Jesus said to them again, 'Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.' And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit.'" God sent Jesus out with an immeasurable anointing of the Holy Spirit. And Jesus was saying to the disciples, "Now I'm going to send you out like My Father sent Me." That means Jesus imparted an immeasurable anointing to them.
Every Believer has received a measure of impartation and anointing, but God has even more He wants to increase in you, because you're His temple, you're His workmanship; and He wants to manifest His glory, His nature, His character, and His power through your life. It still blows my mind that He chose to do it like that!

That's what Paul is saying in Romans 1:11. Paul says, "I long and I ache to see you that you may receive an impartation." Impartation is an infusing. Not just on, but in. He says, "The impartation is going to be spiritual. It doesn't come from me. I'm just going to be a vessel, a signpost, and when I lay hands on you, because of my understanding of impartation and because of the times I've met with Jesus and received impartation, I know what's going to happen. That's why I ache to see you. When you receive this, it's going to help you in what God has for your life" (paraphrase mine).
Jesus, being a wise Master Builder, is not going to cut corners. He's going to do it all, step by step, line by line, and precept by precept. Why? He's your Alpha and Omega.
In Ephesians 2:10 it says, "We are His workmanship." He's doing a work in you and has ordained good works for you, but it's never by your might, never by your ability, never by your power, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Do you want impartation like that from the Lord? God wants to give you a download for your life – an impartation of new levels, new mantles, a new anointing, and a new commission!

James 1:17 says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." Every good gift is from the Father.
In Romans 1:11, Paul is describing a spiritual gift – from Spirit to spirit. Not from a man, not a natural blessing, but from the Lord. Ask the Lord for a direct blessing from Him to You. A divine impartation that is life-changing and life-establishing for you! Ask Him, and then by faith receive what He gives!
God's Word says "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8). Have you been asking? Are you asking for an anointing for purpose? Watch out, you will receive fiery impartation of the Word of God for your life that will burn like fire in your bones! If you want this, align yourself and say, "I'm hungry. Matthew 7:9-11 says, "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" Ask Him for a good gift!
That is how it happened for me. I asked, I sought, and I knocked. I was so hungry for the things of the Lord.
Psalm 63:1-4 says, "O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory." This Scripture became my cry!
I believe there is a generation right now who is crying out the same Scripture. "We want to see Your power and Your glory! We don't want to just hear of what You used to do – we have heard and read of some of the great things You have done throughout history and we are grateful, but we ask now for a Holy Spirit download of impartation from You so we may see those things you have purposed for us today!"
I believe that is why you are reading this right now. You have a holy hunger that can't be satisfied by the natural. It can only be filled by the Holy Spirit and His mighty flow for your life. Ask right now for a mighty outpouring, a divine impartation from Him to you. (Photo via freeimages.com)
Psalm 63:5 declares, "My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips."
Ask God to pour out a mighty anointing upon you – to release the rich, abundant anointing of the Holy Spirit. To saturate you with such rich anointing that you can't help but be joyful, can't help but speak of His lovingkindness. We need the oil of the Holy Spirit, we need fresh oil every day. We need the perpetual unlimited flow of His precious oil in and through our lives. Let Psalm 92:10 be released right now: "But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil!"
Ask for divine impartation! The world needs to see a people who are not walking in the power of man or what religion can give but from the power of the precious Holy Spirit.
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
I share this with you to provoke a deep hunger within you. Ask God right now, regardless of where you are, for your own personal divine impartation. Are you hungry? Just ask Him.
Get ready, here it comes! Let the rock pour out rivers of oil for you that your path drips with fresh oil and anointing (see Job 29:6)!
